Guild Rules

General Rules

  • Members are expected to be generally responsible for the focus and success of the guild.
  • Officers (Lieutenants and Captain) are considered to be members with some extra responsibility and authority when necessary.
  • Disrespect: Any guild member who is openly hostile or demeaning towards a fellow guild member is subject to immediate guild removal.
  • It is the responsibility of all guild members to check the message board frequently. It is imperative that members know the raid schedule and sign up for those events.
  • The guild raid schedule will take priority. A member’s zone timers will be expected to be open on a given raid day for the event scheduled.
  • Members are allowed to do raids with other guilds as long as they do not interfere with scheduled guild raids.
  • Members are expected to entertain themselves and better their own character without guild intervention on non-raid days.
  • If a given situation arises that is not covered in these rules, the officers retain final authority.

Raid Rules

  • All members must be willing to download and use Ventrilo.
  • Members attending a raid are expected to show up ten minutes prior to raid time and be ready to go (Be repaired, have resist gear, have potions, etc.).
  • Primary characters always have priority in any given raid or group situation over an alternate unless the raid leader decides differently.
  • When being given instructions by the raid leader or engaging a target, try to keep Ventrilo clear of chatter. General voice chat banter is welcome up to a point.
  • If you have an issue with your group, a tactic or anything else that is of concern to the raid leader, please send a tell.
  • All members must be willing to die repeatedly and learn content with their guildmates.
  • The raid leader has final authority on all tactics, strategy, and group decisions for the current raid.

Loot Rules

  • On most raids, loot will be randomly assigned with /random 100.
  • The highest roller can choose to pass on an item for various reasons (i.e. he/she won something already, it’s a bigger upgrade for someone else, etc.)
  • The raid leader and/or the officers will be responsible for selling any items not needed by a primary or alternate of a member.
  • Primary characters always have priority over alternates.
