Sodality is on the move! We've recently returned in mass to Lord of the Rings Online. Thus far we've been enjoying it thanks to all the polish that has come to the game since our last pass through. We're on the Firefoot server and taking applications. Click on Uncle Sam to apply.

We're also going to be using xFire for the time being to handle our roster. We've had it for a while now to track members across games. Consider downloading it today.

The newest version of the Sodality website is up and running fairly well. It is a vast improvement over my last look. Dresden and I are still doing a lot of polish work but most of the content is now available. Please don't hesitate to contact me, ferrel [at] mmology [dot] org, if you find something that isn't working. Note that the roster function is currently not enabled.

Nothing could represent our guild as a collection of close friends and family better than our current scattered state. We have people playing Warhammer, EVE Online, a private EQ1 server, WoW, Age of Conan, and hopefully Champions Online Beta. I am sure there are members playing other games as well, which is a testament to our ability to stay together and keep in touch even when interests and play times vary. I don't really have any humor to go with this opening paragraph, other than to say that Khallid informed me that watching BRAVO reality shows isn't TVgay its Telesexual. I think that is kind of like metrosexual...I hope.

I am currently playing EVE a decent amount and loving it, but we also have pillars of our community like Anarchous and Devilicus (Marc and Rhonda) continuing to love Warhammer Online. Others are waiting on the next game like Champions (or, way down the line, Copernicus) to jump back into the MMO kiddie pool. Let's all text in our vote for whatever game doesn't have that urine-detecting chlorine because we all tend to soil our surroundings in our own special way.

Even though I am sure he doesn't read this, our love goes out to Joseph (Jaego) who is currently deployed. Be safe brother. Also, as a plug, anyone interested in helping cure kitten cancer can sponsor Devilicus (Rhonda) on her run!

By: Ferrel on Fri, 03 Jul 2009 12:30:49Lately I’ve been immersing myself in the discussions going on regarding the struggle between the pro-solo and pro-group camps of MMO players. The newest bouts of debate have spilled into a few forum discussions and the comments and related articles by Wolfshead. With such a provocative topic I’ve been inspired to write on many different [...]
