As we grow in numbers and experience we intend to explore RvR and progress through PvE raid content. If you're up for joining a seasoned group of veterans Sodality might just be the place for you. Avert your eyes and put the children to bed, it's time for another update for all you Dresden fanboy(s) out there (yes, you Jaego). Been awhile since I let my funny bone pop out in public, mostly because it isn't funny and bends slightly to the left when excited. As a guild we have been levelling and RvRing when we can, so forgive my lack of updates and general lack of wit (I was born this way). So, without further awkward sexual innuendos that end up only getting me the desperate chicks (who end up being tuck-and-tape life-membership card holders), I will drop this news faster than the Asian stock market.

Sadly I don't really have much in the way of the new or strange to report, other than the wonderful birth of Devilicus and Anarchous' new baby girl (I refrain from making any humorous references due to fear of the father's 24 inch pythons - Yes it's Hulk Hogan). Congratulations and may Sophia be as lovely as her mother and as stubbornly brilliant as her father. Sodality prides itself on having a diverse membership of responsible yet slightly insane people who all have made the horrible mistake of playing on the same server as me.

And now, I would like to turn to the subject of Realm versus Realm combat in Warhammer. Specifically, I want to talk to all of my tank brethren out there (Yes, the 2 chosen, a black orc, and a pizza place). For those who didn't get that reference, just think Van Wilder, some douche, and the chick from that old Foo Fighters video. Anyway, I play a Chosen and feel that tanks have a unique perspective in PvP. So, I would like to dedicate this latest image to the tanks out there, rooted in obscurity (Puns are back, baby). Sometimes it feels like we are the bad kid in class sitting in the time-out corner, waiting to be unrooted so we can pretend that we are attacking something squishy.

I’m very pleased to announce that Sodality is once again actively recruiting members for our Warhammer Online division. Currently we will accept applications for all classes but are most interested in ranged and melee DPS. Our average level is in the upper 20s and quickly shifting to the lower 30s. We will seriously consider applications of any level, however, as long as you’re a skilled, mature and professional individual.

Sodality is a long standing guild that has seen service in Everquest II (under a different name) and Age of Conan. We pride ourselves on being the absolute best at what we do without requiring an insane time commitment. If you’re looking for a fun and professional friendly organization we’re likely the place for you. Take a moment and look our Rules Section for an idea on what we’re about.

Should you wish to ask any questions please visit our forums or contact Ferrel, Dresden or Torment in game. If you'd like to apply please click on the large "We want you" image on our home page. We look forward to hearing from you!

Wow is Realm versus Realm combat fun in Warhammer. I have to say, as someone who hasn't always embraced PvP, there is nothing like pounding a dwarf's face into submission. Making another human's day that much worse is what makes life worth living. Check out our battle line, it's something of a miracle we didn't fold under the pressure.

Luckily we had the secret chicken weapon, known as Vicex the Showoff.

Some of you may have noticed that our little website is looking a bit different. I went through the code recently and decided I wasn't too thrilled with it. In addition to that the page simply didn't match our forums. I've starting cutting the whole site over to our new look! Please excuse the fact that there are two different themes on some pages. We'll get it all sorted out soon!

Well, it has been a good long while since I dropped an update on the site. As many who are playing Age of Conan know, the game has been something of a ghost town lately. At the moment our guild is putting Conan on pause as we look toward the release of Warhammer Online, which seems very promising.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say that Conan is a great game. The game is extremely innovative in terms of the combat system and mature themes that it grasps with pleasure. I found it a very welcome change of pace from the run-of-the-mill WoW clones that have infested my favorite PC genre like a bad case of crabs. Conan did alot of things new and well, but it unfortunately did not have the basics to support all of the great new concepts. They definitely did not read Blizzard's manual - "So You Want to Make an MMO?" Alot of the functions that we have come to expect from any MMO product were simply not present in Conan, like Guild UI, customizable interfaces, and a stable world environment.

Warhammer looks like it is going to be a good addition to the MMO community, probably because it does take most of WoW's basics and applies them to a new world. Sure, the combat system is almost identical to WoW and the character progression seems oddly familiar, but all of the stability and basic functions of a quality MMO are already in place in the beta. We look forward as a guild to trying this new product out. If anyone is interested in playing with us we will be on the Monolith server, Destruction side.
